Chevrolet has finally redesigned their outdated interior and brought many updates to the legendary Silverado line up. This redesign is for the 2022 model year Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trucks.
The refreshed 2022 Silverado 1500 lineup will receive an available 13.4" touch screen infotainment system and a 12.3" digital gauge cluster for an updated technologically advanced interior that is sure to lead the industry. The Silverado interior is design around user experience, the 13.4" touchscreen is standard on LT trim models and above. The new 12.3" gauge cluster also allows users to completely reconfigure the gauge layout to cater to each users needs. Chevrolet has partnered up with Google to work alongside Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to allow a level of customization and flexibility that has never been seen before. For trucks that are spec'd with bucket seats they have redesigned the center console to include an electronic shifter for a more premium feel. On High Country trim models Super Cruise is available for hands free driving even with a trailer.
Along with the many great updates from Chevrolet for the interior is an increased towing capacity for the coveted 3.0L LM2 Duramax Diesel. Chevrolet has increased the maximum towing capacity to 13,300 lbs, the exact trim levels and specifications for the max tow capacity are sure to be released soon.
