I run the summer + all year long. I used to use diesel kleen but made the switch. One thing I noticed is the engine got quieter. I been running opti lube so long I don't know how much gain in mpg I got from switching over.

I run xpd and haven't noticed a difference. But then I saw no change with Efi either so...

I have never used any additive what so ever. Don't know if I ever will, but only time will tell.

Do you think it would be better to use the XPD or the Summer here in FL? XPD has more of the water demulsifier...the Summer has more cetane... With the level of humidity here on the east coast would the water demulsifier be more important?

If you live in a warm climate like me you can run summer plus formula all year long. But I might be switching to xpd... It is more of an all round formula and I want the lubricity more. And once in a while I go to the mountains and it gets cold.

I use a 50/50 mix of XPD and Winter. Winter here gets well below 0 every year and dips to -20. XPd is rated for -10 and Winter is rated for -50 so I figure I'm good to -30. At least it makes sense to me.

I been running the summer blend for a couple years. But earlier this year decided to try out xpd again. I've been running it for the last 4 months and I am almost out.

The summer blend last me about a year so that is why I went back to the summer blend.
