  • DMAXSTORE Fuel Filter Housing Rebuild

    Step 1:
    Remove filter head from truck

    Step 2:
    Remove the 3 #20 Torx screws on the top of the filter. This is spring loaded use caution not to loose any parts.

    Step 3:
    Remove the first of 4 orings with larger Viton Oring provided in Dmaxstore Rebuild Kit. Reinstall pump cover with the 3 #20 Torx bolts.

    Step 4:
    Turn housing over and remove the 2 #20 Torx bolts. This housing is also spring loaded but will be slightly difficult to remove, us some upward pressure or flat blade screw driver.

    Step 5:
    Replace the second largest O-ring with Viton O-ring provided.

    Step 6:
    Replace third largest O-Ring with Viton O-Ring provided.

    Step 7:
    Replace smallest O-ring on bleeder screw with Viton O-ring provided.

    Step 8:
    Reinstall rebuilt filter head with New fuel filter from Dmaxstore and bleed fuel system.

    Note: Please lubricate new O-rings for easy installation

    Should include a billet plug since the plastic ones are horrid.

      Agree, when rebuilding or not, its a great idea to upgrade tot he billet screw

        I need to invest in some items in the near future. Probably when I win the contest I'll order a couple things at the same time
