No problem. Everything actually looks normal except for the filter just falling out when I dropped the pan. If that filter wasn't seating properly would that not cause vacuum problems?

My measurements seems to be exact to what you have on that pan

Yes your pan looks stock. Sounds like you have called in and talked with our service manager Chad. You told him the truck drove fine for a couple days then started shifting weird.
Looks like some better diagnostic is needed. Did you make an appointment to bring it in?

No not yet Mike. I just closed it back up. I am a little short on fluid now but man she does not want to go in R. One thing I have noticed is the PRND123 display is really dim. I can't see what gear it goes into at day time. Is this a sign that the amperage may be low to the trany

I appreciate all the replies today. I am a little frustrated with this truck right no. I just last month had to replace the water pump and now this. This truck is my daily commuter to and from work so I need to figure it out soon.

Try eliminating the Banks tuner. Also consider putting your original NSBU switch back in since the problem is getting worse with the new one installed.

Will do that tomorrow. You guys carry the factory NSBU part or is that dealer only

Chad also mentioned that it could be my ignition switch

I just browsed your website. Very nice and the price is competitive. Will have to stop by and meet you guys.
Thanks again for all your input.

Please do, though we wish it were under better circumstances. Just a FYI, tomorrow we are closing early (1:30pm)....

Hey Mike how big of a job is the ignition switch. I am going to replace that today.
After that fails I will put back the old NSBU and see if it acts different. If all the above fails I will have to schedule an appointment with you guys

Update I fixed my problem. Came down to a 33 dollar ignition switch and it took me about a half hour tops to swap it out.
That ignition switch can be the cause of a lot of trouble with the allison.

Good deal. Chad said he talked with you on the phone and thought that might be the source of your issue. 👍
