  • Bilstein 5100 VS 5160

I was wondering if anyone has changed from the Bilstein 5100 shocks to the Bilstein 5160 shocks on their truck. I tow daily and I need to replace my shocks. I have been looking at the 5100 shocks for a little while now, but I have recently stumbled across the 5160 shocks and curious if its worth the money to get the 5160 and whether or not those are recommended for towing. I'd appreciate any advice.

I appreciate it. I'm towing a 7x18 enclosed trailer with about 3-4K load inside of it. So definitely need something that's going to last. I agree, I think the 5160 might be the better choice. They look better, should last longer with better heat disbursement, and most likely smoother ride with load or without. Those 3 points I think are worth the extra money. Thanks again for the advice. Definitely helps!
